I find some staircases quite interesting and enjoy finding unusual angles and ways to portray them. These were taken in a variety of places, from a disused lighthouse in Northumberland to a free-standing helix in the Louvre in Paris. Also included are staircases in Tate St Ives, in Somerset House in London, a London hotel and a London department store.

Downward Spiral
A department store in London with a superb spiral staircase. This was taken using a fisheye lens to create the effect of looking into a very deep hole.
