I find some staircases quite interesting and enjoy finding unusual angles and ways to portray them. These were taken in a variety of places, from a disused lighthouse in Northumberland to a free-standing helix in the Louvre in Paris. Also included are staircases in Tate St Ives, in Somerset House in London, a London hotel and a London department store.

Stairs Up at Somerset House
More lovely stairs at Somerset House in London. Here I thought the strong diagonal of the stairs matched nicely with the half circle of the first balcony. Also, I liked the complemetary colours af brown and blue.
