Angel Sunset (Mono)

Angel of the North statue at Gateshead, taken near sunset in early August as the low sun was illuminating the back of the statue. The clouds seem to echo the line of the wing, and I was very lucky that a man came and stood by the foot to give it scale. I found that this image worked just as well in mono as it did in colour.
