Saltburn Pier Lights

I chose this viewpoint and a wide angle lens to use the lines of the funicular railway to lead the eye down to the illuminated pier. I particularly liked the lights under the pier lighting up the sea. Taken after sunset on a stormy day in late November, an exposure of several seconds helped to smooth out the movement in the waves.
