On a visit to Romania in June 2014, I enjoyed photographing these lovely people as a change from my more normal landscape and architecture subjects. The people were delightful and were happy to be photographed.
Church Lady, Ieud
I was with a group of photographers in Romania and we were in the village of Ieud in Maramures County in the north of the country. This very nice lady had the keys to the old wooden church and, after letting us in to look round, she obligingly posed for me outside. Taken late afternoon on a cloudy day in June.
