On a visit to Romania in June 2014, I enjoyed photographing these lovely people as a change from my more normal landscape and architecture subjects. The people were delightful and were happy to be photographed.

After I had taken the previous picture, Maria got her young son to come and join them. When I had taken the shot she wrote her address on a piece of paper and gave it ot me. When I got home I sent her some prints.
