I find some staircases quite interesting and enjoy finding unusual angles and ways to portray them. These were taken in a variety of places, from a disused lighthouse in Northumberland to a free-standing helix in the Louvre in Paris. Also included are staircases in Tate St Ives, in Somerset House in London, a London hotel and a London department store.

Blue Stairs at Somerset House
Exactly the same shot as 'Stairs at Somerset House', but in the processing I inverted the colour palette. Because the image is dominated by blue and yellow, the effect is simply to reverse these colours.
