Interiors 2

I find some staircases quite interesting and enjoy finding unusual angles and ways to portray them. These were taken in a variety of places, from a disused lighthouse in Northumberland to a free-standing helix in the Louvre in Paris. Also included are staircases in Tate St Ives, in Somerset House in London, a London hotel and a London department store.

Wrong Way
Wrong Way
Taken in Somerset House in London, the arrows on the stairs and floor were directions to an exhibition. I leaned over the bannister and waited, and after a few minutes someone came into view walking against the direction of the arrows. Wrong Way seemed to be the best title!
